Storyline

The 1956 Alexander Hall romantic fantasy comedy (“From MGM! All new! Full length! In color!”) starring Lucille Ball (actress of the 1930s and 1940s who is best known as the star of TV’s “I Love Lucy”) and Desi Arnaz (Cuban band leader in minor 1940s movies who married Lucille Ball and became a superstar with TV’s “I Love Lucy”), James Mason, Louis Calhern, Natalie Schafer (best known as “Mrs. Howell” in TV’s “Gilligan’s Island”), and Nancy Kulp (best known as “Miz Jane” in TV’s “The Beverly Hillbillies”). Apparently Lucy and Desi liked hiring TV actors for their big screen movie!
