Love Happy (1983)

Storyline

The 1949 Leo McCarey and David Miller musical screwball comedy (“New Musical Girlesque!!!”; “Their NEWEST! FUNNIEST! Musical!”) starring the Marx Brothers (Groucho, Chico, and Harpo), Ilona Massey, Vera-Ellen, Marion Hutton, Raymond Burr (best known for playing the title role in TV’s “Perry Mason”), and Marilyn Monroe (in only her second credited role!). What is remarkable is that the people who designed the posters put pictures of three pretty girls on them, but did not manage to make Marilyn Monroe one of them, surely a major blunder. I know this was because she was unknown at the time, but I would think they would have recognized her obvious assets!
